Harry Browne and photographer Barry Cronin came to my house a couple of weeks ago to interview me about me harmonica workshop for an article in the Culture section for The Sunday Times called “Breathing New Life into The Harmonica”.

Cathal Johnson has 27 years of playing, tuning, maintaining, repairing and innovating his own harmonicas.
A keen Irish traditional musician, Cathal Johnson attained a degree in Applied Music specialising in Solo Performance on the harmonica playing Irish Traditional Dance Music on diatonic and chromatic harmonicas at Dundalk Institute of Technology.
In 2019 he was recognised and certified by Hohner Harmonica manufacturers in Germany as “Hohner Service Technician”.
